Job Description

• We are looking for a Global Marketing Intern to join us as we continue our amazing growth trajectory.


• Chipper's Summer Internships gives college students the opportunity to augment their education by taking on meaningful real-world projects over a 3 month span during the summer break from college. Our Interns gain a solid understanding of Chipper, our mission, and what it's like to work at a growth stage company.


• As a Global Marketing Intern at a fast-growing scale-up company, you will have the opportunity to get 1st hand experience executing Brand and Growth focused campaigns, market research, and data analysis at scale.


• We have a close knit culture centered on open-communication, honest feedback, and personal responsibility. You will not be micromanaged.


• The Chipper team is truly global - on a daily basis, you might be interacting with team members in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York City, London, Brazil, Accra, Lagos, and Nairobi.

What You Should Have

• Strong interest in leveraging technology to improve access to financial services


• Strong interest in emerging markets - extra bonus for interest/experience in African markets


• Excellent writing skills and ability to match writing to brands Voice and Tone


• Strong interest in data and analytics, with a proficiency in Excel


• Some prior experience or very strong interest in product marketing, growth marketing, and/or brand marketing

What You’ll Be Working On

• Chipper Global Marketing is a Local/Global model, so you can engage with leaders driving growth in key markets, and work with the global team supporting our local markets


• Writing ad copy and conducting AB testing


• Scoping Ad creatives and working with the Design team to deliver new high quality assets


• Writing, launching, and analyzing micro surveys to Chipper users based on funnel analysis


• Supporting the GM team in research, reporting, and execution of marketing campaigns.
