Job Duties, Responsibilities & Accountabilities



  • Support the implementation of TGI Group's external communication strategy

  • Drive increased media coverage and positive perception of the company through a proactive media relations program.

  • Lead content generation of external communication materials.

  • Manage external communications and foster strong relations by building and managing key media contacts.

  • Write press releases and articles about the Group and its businesses.

  • Disseminating information on TGI Group's external communication channels including social media.

  • Provide media monitoring and reports pertaining to TGI through daily news scans.

  • Manage the group website to ensure it is not only functional and live but also enhances the reputation of the group.

  • Support the goals, objectives and other responsibilities set by the department head.


Education / Knowledge, Skills, Attributes, Experience & Other Requirements



  • Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Mass Communication, Media Studies or other relevant field.

  • 3-5 years of experience working in a similar role.

  • Knowledge and understanding of communication practices, tools, and techniques in social media management.

  • Knowledge of the Nigerian media landscape.

  • Proven strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work with a wide range of partners.
