- Identify new markets/Customers; develop new accounts for business, especially outside Lagos.
- Establish, build and maintain a good relationship with customers.
- Develop new products as per market demands.
- Monitor competitor products in the marketplace, including stock levels, market share pricing data, designs, promotional activities and make recommendations based on market data.
- Make recommendations based on customer feedback and competitors' products.
- Visit markets around Nigeria, regularly to meet customers, push sales to reconcile their accounts and understand problems.
- The ideal candidate should be one with tenacity and drive to sell the company's services.
- Develop and monitor operational sales strategies.
- Maximize Sales revenue through the development and allocation of sales targets and the monitoring of sales performance against the sales targets.
- Monitor and analyse competitor business in order to identify and exploit new business opportunities and increase market share.
- Establish, manage and maintain positive relationships with all internal stake holders, agencies and clients directly in order to generate income and profits for the region.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Seek out new prospects and develop clientele base via networking.
- Promote company's products and services to existing and prospective clients by utilizing available resources.
- Work with prospects through the sales process; understand customer needs; handle objections and close business deals.
- Address client inquiries, ensuring their needs are consistently met and explaining features, advantages and disadvantages of policies to promote sales of training Programmes.
- Maximize sales of appropriate products that meet the needs of customers by effective use of sales skills.
- Good Knowledge in marketing and liaison.
Qualifications / Experience
- B.Sc in Marketing, Business Management or Economics.
- Masters is an added advantage.
- Prior marketing/sales experience is required, at least 2 years experience will be an added advantage.
- Must be computer literate.
- Fluent in spoken English and adept at written skills in English.
- Ideally, exposure to working within a multi-cultural environment.
- Must be willing to travel in and around Nigeria.
- The candidate must be self-motivated, confident, enthusiastic and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- A person of high integrity who is direct and truthful but at the same time is confidential.
- Sales experience in consulting and training firms is an added advantage.
