The IT Officer is responsible for coordinating, planning, and leading computer-related and telecommunication system activities of the company. He will determine the IT needs of the organization and implement computer systems to fulfill the organization's information systems requirements
Responsibilities for IT Manager
- Assist in ensuring good network systems across department for process efficiency
- Handle storage, backup and protection of information
- Provide and manages internet service for the office
- Handle systems updates and repairs of computer hardware as may be required
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be required by the Head, Information Technology.
Job Objective
- Lead large IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services
- Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure
- Help define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes
- Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs
- Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT
- Timely analysis and resolution of all IT complaints within the company
- Service and maintain all computers
- Network maintenance of all computers, scanners and printers
- Correct level of access to users on files server and system servers
- 1st and 2nd Tier maintenance of all CPU, RAM, Disk Space usage and consumption as well as back up of all servers
