About the Job
We are seeking a hardworking, motivated, and well-organized Project Engineer who will be responsible for all engineering and technical disciplines that the projects involve. S/He will schedule, plan, forecast, resource, and manage all the technical activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion.
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, organize, implement, and enforce workflow
- Lead process improvement activities and develop innovative solutions to unique problems
- Plan and prepare schedules, milestones, and monitor the project's progress against established schedules
- Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, Quality Control and Quality Assurance (QA/QC) policies, performance standards and specification.
- Prepare progress reports and reviews and issue progress schedules to clients
- Help manage suppliers /vendors to ensure parts are delivered on time to the required quality standard
- Coordinate all project elements including engineering design, quality planning, repair, installation, commissioning up to final invoicing phases
- Effectively analyze and track customer and internal changes — Management of Change
- Establish and monitor the correct purchase requisitions raising process
- Assist with technical reports verification and sign off reporting. Write proposals and reports with all necessary backup material
- Review contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with client, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Analyze the scope, prepare, and submit execution plan, technical and commercial project tender documentation and pricing
- Assist with project Health and Safety (HSE)/QAQC commissioning systems and documentation.
- Interact daily with clients, project participants and other departments, to provide assistance and technical support. Apply specific technical skills as required to support the client or colleagues
- Assign responsibilities and provide guidance to other project team members
- Lead groups of Engineers and Technicians if required

Requirements
- B.ENG in Engineering or related degree
- Certifications -PMP Certificate is a plus
- A minimum of 7 years in Mechanical Engineering company or a similar role
- IT Knowledge Required- Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, MS Projects, or Primavera
- Must be willing to travel
