Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day financial management of the school including accounts payable, accounts receivables etc


• Carry out business planning, budgeting and forecasting of the School’s financial resources


• Manage cash flow of procurements, supplies etc


• Advice on financial risk and asset management


• Handle regulatory financial reporting and benchmarking surveys


• Design and update financial procedures

Skill Required:

• Must possess strong managerial and supervisory ability


• Must have written and oral communication skills


• Must possess problem solving, financial, analytical and time management skills


• Must be organized, methodical and result oriented


• Must be mature and stable

Qualification:

• Bachelors Degree from a reputable university


• Professional Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria or its equivalent


• Proven work experience as a Bursar or a Financial administrator within the educational sector with a strong financial management skill


• Minimum of three to five (3-5) years’ experience in a Senior Management role


• Must be conversant with Microsoft Excel and at least one Accounting software


• Experience in a high CapEx environment in an added advantage
