We are looking for a Creative Graphics Designer and Social Media Strategist who will focus on increasing brand awareness through the effective use of social media.
Responsibilities
Study design briefs and determine requirements
Schedule projects and define budget constraints
Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
Develop illustrations, logos, and other designs using software or by hand
Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
Work with copywriters and creative director to produce the final design
Test graphics across various media
Amend designs after feedback
Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
Using social media marketing tools to create and maintain the company’s brand
Design quality and professional graphics
Working with marketing professionals to develop social media marketing campaigns
Interacting with customers and other stakeholders via the company’s social media accounts
Analyzing the company’s digital marketing plan and social media strategy and identifying strategic weaknesses and making recommendations for improvements
Researching social media trends and informing management of changes that are relevant to the company’s marketing activities
Setting key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of shares or likes, and measuring a campaign’s performance against the KPIs
Planning and developing social media campaigns.
Crafting compelling content or getting it developed.
Posting content across social media accounts.
Engaging with customers on different channels.
Analyzing running campaigns.
Being on top of the latest social media trends.
Qualifications
Degree in Design, Fine Arts, or related field is an added advantage
Proven graphic designing experience
A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Corel Draw, Photoshop)
