Job Responsibilities



  • Posting all expenses into the ledger by raising cheques from approved requisitions

  • Timely scheduling and arranging statutory payments such as PAYE, VAT, WHT, etc. and filing of such as and when due with the right authorities

  • Paying vendors timely and in line with the Creditors payment policy

  • Capacity and ability to use Sage/Vend/Ivend/Tally report.

  • Cross-checking what Boutique Accountants have posted.

  • Other technical tasks may be incidental to treasury functionality.

  • All payable records are to be checked regularly and compared with schedules on spreadsheets

  • Trade and non-trade vendors' records are judiciously kept and managed

  • Payments are made electronically, cheque writing, etc using the best approach.

  • Other matters related to this treasury management

  • Bank balances,Vendors account reporting

  • Rent Schedules

  • Other related issues

  • Bank, POS,Barter trades, Creditors accounts reconciliations.

  • Any other duty as may be assigned by HOF/ Management.


Requirements



  • B.Sc in Accounting, Business, or Finance.

  • 5 years of Proven experience working as a treasury / payable officer.

  • Proficient with bookkeeping and accounting software.

  • Strong verbal and visual financial reporting skills

  • Exceptional ability to communicate complex financial information

  • Valuable time management and prioritization skills

  • In-depth knowledge of software tools used by the committee

  • Solid understanding of budget planning and finance

  • Substantial value for ethics and trustworthy operations

  • Experience using different methodical approaches for managing finances

  • Ability to adhere to strict deadlines.


Salary

N5,000,000 - N6,000,000 annually.
