CLIENT: A fast growing Accounting and Auditing Services firm in Abuja, is in need of experienced hands to fill the following positions immediately:
Job description
Engaging in Audit exercises and attending client meetings, maintaining client relations, reviewing, testing and preparing client accounts, analysing and cross-checking financial details, keep records of all clients’ files and confidential document, and prepare report. Also travel outside base to client offices to conduct audit assignments etc.
Job Requirement
- Reviewing the organisation’s financial systems
- checking that financial reports and records are accurate and reliable
- Performing tests to check financial information
- Risk analysis
- Building a relationship with the client and advising them on areas for improvement.
- ensuring that assets are safeguarded
- identifying if and where processes are not working as they should and advising on changes to be made
- preparing reports, commentaries and financial statements
- liaising with managerial staff and presenting findings and recommendations
- ensuring procedures, policies, legislation and regulations are correctly followed and complied with
- Any other assigned responsibility.
Qualification
- A graduate of Accounting
- At least 3 years relevant work experience in an Audit firm.
- 35 years and below.
Specific requirements:
- Very Knowledgeable in accounting and in the preparation of Financial Statements
- Good understanding of Financial Audit and audit procedure,
- Can use QuickBooks Accounting Software very well
- Very good in analysis
Competencies
- proficiency in Microsoft office, especially Microsoft Excel Package
- Ability to work with High Speed and Accuracy
