Job Description
Responsibilities
- Support the Facility Manager in managing every facility of the organisation.
- Provide cover of the site Helpdesk/ enable employees to receive prompt support at the point of need.
- Conduct high visibility pro-active patrols to identify potential and emerging issues.
- Respond to maintenance issues, or escalate through the appropriate process for more serious issues, so as to minimise inconvenience to employees.
- Manage incidents such as Fire Alarms, Intruders, Anti-Social Behaviour, First Aid etc.
- Liase with vendors and suppliers to ensure supplies, maintenance, and deployments are done on time.
- Conduct routine caretaking responsibilities such as cleaning and ensuring public areas are kept to a high standard, litter picking around the site.
- Liaise with key stakeholders and partner agencies in a courteous, professional manner.
- Log all occurrences and tasks in the appropriate recording mechanism.
- Undertake any relevant personal and professional development as required by the business in support of the role being undertaken.
Qualifications
- ND, HND, or B.Sc qualification in a related course in any recognized institution
- 3-4 years experience as a facility officer or personnel.
- Competent writing and communication skills – including the ability to communicate technical information
- Relationship-building

- Teamwork, leadership, and motivational skills

- Understanding of soft and hard service delivery
