Job Description

• Supervise the all drilling/workover/testing/completion operation and ensure they are in accordance with the program.


• Supervise the service contractors/sub-contractors working for the company.


• Plan ahead to determine future requirements for drilling equipment and consumables.


• Discuss program changes with the Day Drilling Supervisor.


• Liaise with other departments (e.g., production) to discuss and schedule concurrent operations.

Requirements

• High School Education (minimum).


• Possession of a degree is an advantage.


• Attended industry courses in well engineering, well operations management, project management.


• Experience 15 years Age 35 years (minimum).


• Good technical knowledge of wellsite supervision.


• Initiative to proffer solutions to technical problems.


• Sound knowledge of IADC/API guidelines for well operations.


• Able to supervise subordinates and lead team to achieve results.


• Good interpersonal skills, communications and organizational skills are essential.
