Job Description
Position Objective
To oversee the finance and accounting function within the Finance Department. To ensure the accounts and reports are kept in accordance with the Financial Rules and GAP.
Job Responsibilities
- To oversee finance and accounting functions;
- To liaise with auditors, bankers and government agencies;
- To ensure annual budget, monthly reports and cash flows in accordance to the policies and guidelines;
- To establish internal financial control & Responsible for all statutory reporting;
- To communicate with involved parties for all necessary information within the financial reports over all deadlines;
- To introduce process improvements, understands business control requirements to ensure compliance, manages multiple stakeholder relationships and applies knowledge of business to improve the department performance;
- Works directly and effectively with all levels of the.
To assist the Financial Controller on any other assigned duties.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy and/or other accounting qualification:
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience;
- Membership of Accounting Professional Body will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrate leadership and management skills;
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Attention to details and able to work with deadlines.
