• Degree in accounting, banking and finance, economics or any related numerate field


• Number of years of experience; between 2year to 9years


• Must have ICAN-ACA

Skills and attributes:

• Knowledge and experience in accounting entries and keeping of financial records


• Ability to carry out reconciliation of financial records


• Auditing, Internal Control and Monitoring skills


• Basic to intermediate knowledge of chart of accounts as per the banking industry


• Knowledge of policies and procedure relating to account opening documentation and compliance


• Conversant with industry and regulatory compliance regimes


• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications particularly Excel and Words


• Ability to review data, make inferences and suggest possible resolution approaches  


• High level of attention to details


• Ability to identify errors


• Self-starter, inquisitive, innovative, trustworthy, reliable, disciplined, focused, prompt, e.t.c.
