AMG Logistics Nigeria Limited, a fast-growing Logistics and Freight Forwarding Company of repute, is looking for a smart and result oriented Sales Operations Executive in Lagos, Nigeria.




Job Overview



  • Identifying and reporting new business opportunities within Africa to the management

  • Analyzing and developing opportunities as indicated by the management

  • Follow up on all price quotations & elaborate on technical (application) questions

  • Preparation and follow-up of price offers for existing and new customers

  • Key account manager for assigned region (customer retention, active hunting)

  • Implement the predetermined marketing & sales plan for Perishable products

  • Relationship management: setting out visiting frequencies of the existing & new clients, extensive travel will be required to visit shippers / growers etc…

  • Supporting the commercial and operational services and act as escalation point for both

  • Ensure synergy between the teams by sharing knowledge and developing best practices.

  • Key Account for awarded customers regarding quality and procedures

  • Follow up on projects and give input to the sales and operational team where necessary with regard to SOP’s & SLA’s

  • Report directly to the Management on a weekly basis

  • Other tasks as may be relevant depending on a organizational projects


Requirements for the position:



  • Commercial experience in Air freight logistics

  • Language skills : English and French + any other local dialect

  • Ability to build a business case and/or business model from a broad information consultation

  • Strong team player

  • Analytic and problem solving

  • Strong commercial and customer-oriented thinking

  • Commercially broadening and stimulating network

  • Work independently with full focus on result

  • Extra attention to planning, reporting and open communication

  • Weekly planning & reporting towards MT

  • Excellent Communication, Interpersonal and Negotiation Skills.

  • Good Computer Skills.

  • Excellent business acumen and intelligence.
