Responsiblilities



  • Supervises the evaluation of status of operation to ensure efficient operating conditions at the start and duration of a shift.

  • Supervise operators' activities for unloading and re-gas operations and coordinate interaction between the various functions.

  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental and health requirements on the shift.

  • Ensure product quality specifications and delivery volume requirements are met.

  • Troubleshoot plant problems

  • Conducts performance evaluation, motivates, trains, guides and counsel subordinates to maintain harmonious relationships among them.

  • Train and mentor subordinate operations personnel.

  • Accountable for supervising the day-to-day operations functions associated with the safe, reliable and efficient operation of all LNG terminal facilities.

  • Accountable for optimum production levels, Emergency Response, shut-down and start-up activities through supervising Panel Operator and Field Operators

  • Prepares purchase and service requisitions for required materials and contractor services.

  • Directs maintenance and repair activities as needed, including planning plant outages for maintenance turnarounds.

  • Performs long-term planning for facility, including planned improvements.

  • Initiates immediate repair and/or adjustment in cases where discrepancies are noted.

  • Works with relevant unit in preparing plant for gas consumption (liquefaction) and send-out (vaporization).

  • Supervises chemical laboratory activities.

  • Reviews and analyzes performance data to identify best practices and standardize processes.

  • Serve as backup to Operations Manager

  • Collaborate in the study and analysis of incidents and in developing reports.

  • Acts as the incident commander in case of any emergency until relieved by a proper authority

  • Provide technical advice/support to maintenance team.

  • Any other duty that may be assigned by management.


Education and Skills Requirements



  • Bachelor's Degree in any Engineering discipline.

  • Minimum of eight (8) years’ working experience in LPG/LNG plant.

  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of LNG industry, equipment / plant operation and maintenance, LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) Process, AMINE treating, Acid gas removal (AGR), AMDEA, DEA, MEA, Dryers, Gas turbine/ compressor, Distillation, Liquefaction, Cryogenic process -100 deg C and bellow HRSG, Steam Turbine, Fractionation/ distillation Column.

  • Working knowledge in SCADA system and PLC
