About the Role
- This role is responsible to provide oversight to the housekeeping activities in the hospital, covering catering, laundry, cleaning and gardening service.
Summary of Responsibilities
- Ensure top quality food is served to patients and staff
- Ensure bed sheets, duvet, patients gowns, etc. are sparkling clean
- Ensure the hospital environment (internal and external are clean)
- Organize and supervise the regular fumigation of the Hospital and its environment
- Regular and consistent hospital rounds with prompt fault reporting
- Manage the working relationships between cleaning officers and the hospital
- Prompt response to patient and staff complaints regarding cleanliness
- Reporting on Housekeeping Issues or/and challenges
- Any other duty as assigned
Key Result Areas/ Performance Goals
- Quality of food served
- Timeliness in serving food
- Cleanliness of Bed sheets and duvets, patient gowns, etc.
- Turnaround time for delivering dry cleaned sheets, duvet, etc. to patients/patient room in exchange for dirty ones
- Cleanliness of hospital Internal and external environment with adherence to cleaning protocols
- Management of patients complaints with regards to services provided
- Regular relevant trainings for service improvement
- Accuracy of reports
- Timeliness of reports
Job Qualifications
- University Degree or Higher Diploma in Catering / Hotel Management or Social Sciences
- Applicants should have 3-6 years of experience in similar capacity.
