Job Brief

IFA’s Early intervention centre (EIC) for children living with Autism is hiring an Arabic-

speaking teacher to provide education and therapy services to our Arabic student(s) under the direct supervision of the centre coordinator.


General responsibilities:



  • Attend all required meetings and contribute to applicable study support and special

    education needs (SENs) meetings and maintain and supply any information that may be

    required for individual pupils.

  •  Teaching all applicable areas of the curriculum as required

  •  Organising classes and taking responsibility for the progress of pupil(s)

  •  Maintain discipline whilst motivating pupil(s) and facilitating their development to meet targets

  •  Providing feedback on pupils’ progress as required

  •  Health and safety in the classroom and in the school environment.

  • Take part in the school’s curricular activities outside of classes including those which

    take place on evenings and weekends

  • Build and maintain co-operative relationships with both pupils and their

    parents/guardians

  • Work with parents and guardians to maximize their involvement in the school and the

    development of resources for it

  • Liaise, co-operate and work with others

  • Meet your targets and contribute to those of the team as a whole

  • Support colleagues and contribute towards the smooth running of the team and the school

  • Adhere to and promote all school values, policies and procedures


Requirement and skills



  • OND/HND, NCE or Bachelor’s degree in any field, preferably in education

  •  No specific years of experience required

  •  A degree in psychology or special needs education is a plus

  •  Fluent in Arabic and English language
