Our client in the upstream sector, mainly responsible for the production and manufacturing of different commodities and oil related products, packaging and labels, homecare products and aerosols etc is looking to hire an experienced site supervisor to oversee construction projects and supervise the construction team.

JOB SUMMARY

The site supervisor's responsibilities include ordering of building materials, scheduling equipment maintenance when needed, and training new construction employees. He/she should also be able to perform first aid in the case of emergencies.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspecting construction sites regularly to identify and eliminate every potential safety hazards.


• Supervising and instructing the construction team as well as other subcontractors.


• Educating site workers on construction safety regulations and accident protocols.


• Enforcing site safety rules to minimize work-related accidents and injuries.


• Handling site accidents in accordance with established accident protocol.


• Maintaining an accurate record of construction employee attendance.


• Evaluating the performance of construction employees and instituting disciplinary measures as needed.


• Analysing blueprints to ensure that construction projects meet design, safety, and budget specifications.


• Recommending changes to construction operations or procedures to increase efficiency.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 5yrs experience working as a Site Supervisor.


• Bachelor's degree in construction management, construction science, civil engineering, or related field is preferred.


• Must have a background experience working with a Construction company.


• Must have good understanding of architectural designs and implementation.


• Must be able to Supervise workers on site.


• Good knowledge of working with vendors for supply.


• Knowledgeable in the Measurement of sand, understanding sand and cement ratio for mixing.


• It is a (FIELD JOB) meaning working onsite.


• Bachelor's degree in construction management, construction science, civil engineering, or related field is preferred.


• Sound knowledge of building codes and construction safety regulations.


• Working knowledge of construction tools and equipment. understand sand and cement ratio for mixing.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
