Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Identifying new business opportunities and submitting proposals/quotes to prospective clients.
- Following up and updating clients on the progress of all ongoing jobs with the company.
- Managing existing clients and business relationships
- Obtaining feedback and reports from clients
- Meeting assigned sales target (monthly, quarterly, and annually)
- Maintaining an updated database of clients, with their sales records
- Creating and generating reports
- Develop sales presentations for varying sales meetings
- Responding to requests from clients
- Assisting in managing all existing clients through regular communication with key contacts
- Identifying key market segments and developing marketing plans
- Promoting the company’s products/services
- Developing sales and operational knowledge of all our services.
- Identifying immediate and long-term needs of clients for solutions offering
- Liaising between the company and clients in the industry
- Effective prospecting and market intelligence gathering to aid successful sales presentations
- Conducting follow-up activities with the aim of achieving and exceeding customer expectation
Requirements:
- Applicants should possess a minimum of a First Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or any other relevant field
- Minimum of five (5) years of sales and marketing experience in the logistics sector
- Excellent interpersonal & organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Target-driven
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience in the logistic sector is a prerequisite
- Good network/contacts
