Job Brief

Waziri is seeking a graphic designer & website content to join our team. He/she will be designing a wide variety of things across digital media platforms. To be successful in this position, he/she should be a self-starter, capable of delivering brilliant creative ideas, show amazing attention to detail and redefine the E-commerce experiences that we can give to our customers through the use of catchy designs.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all in-house e-commerce creative content and developing design concepts for the Waziri website.


• Overseeing the site to ensure all content is consistent with the Waziri identity and ensuring that all product is uploaded correctly, and content is correctly displayed.


• Work closely with the IT engineer team to manage back-end administrative duties, and inventory contents.


• Crafting engaging message designs for various promotional banners/flyers across our social media platform, and website banners/e-flyers for campaigns.


• Create visual motion & animate graphics, and video designs for Waziri’s internal and external needs.


• Work with the team in a highly collaborative environment.


• Pushing our brand identity and UI style forward while maintaining our design system.


• Conduct audits of the Waziri site to ensure all product content is updated and accurate to enhance customer experience.


• Reviewing and approving pending products and updating online assortment and replacing images that are not appealing.


• Helping develop strategic initiatives to enhance brand visibility and identity.

Requirements and Expectations

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, or related field is a plus


• At least 2-3 years of experience and proficiency in using desktop publishing tools


• Mastery of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.


• Passionate about graphic design, typography, photography, motion, and illustration.


• An understanding of SEO best practices


• Strong command of visual and communication design principles.


• Understanding of digital, print, and apparel graphics.


• Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality or accuracy
