Job Description



Responsibilities



  • Collating, checking and analysing spreadsheet data.

  • Examining company accounts and financial control systems.

  • Gauging levels of financial risk within organisations.

  • Checking that financial reports and records are accurate and reliable.

  • Ensuring that assets are protected.

  • Identifying if and where processes are not working as they should and advising on changes to be made.

  • Preparing reports, commentaries and financial statements.

  • Liaising with managerial staff and presenting findings and recommendations.

  • Ensuring procedures, policies, legislation and regulations are correctly followed and complied with.

  • Undertaking reviews of wages.


Requirements



  • B.Sc or HND in Accounting

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as an Audit Officer in an FMCG firm or Agro Sector.

  • Able to work well within a team.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and QuickBooks.

  • Solid analytical skills.

  • Detail-oriented.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Must be sound in the use of Excel package.

  • Experience with an Accounting and Audit software is an added advantage.

  • Preferred candidate should not be more than 30 years of age and must be based in Anambra state.
