Job Description



  • The Business Development Manager role is integral to the overall success of our organization. He / She will be responsible for growing the client base of the organization and meeting monthly sales revenue.


Specific Duties and Responsibilities



  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.

  • Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.

  • Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.

  • Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.

  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.

  • Developing quotes and proposals for clients.

  • Discovers and explores business opportunities.

  • Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.

  • Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.

  • Timely and courteous response to client’s enquiries.

  • Liaising with clients, suppliers and other staff on confirmed orders.

  • Attending to customer calls and enquiries.

  • Preparing customer invoices based on their request.

  • Following up on issued invoices with clients.

  • Calling clients post retrieval for feedback (report to be shared with LM & CEO).

  • Create and maintain client database inclusive of DOB and anniversaries.

  • Ensure 100% accuracy on clients invoices.


Education, Experience & Qualifications

To carry out their duties, the candidate should have the following:



  • Bachelor’s Degree.

  • 5 years plus experience (able to demonstrate having worked with a team or supervisory skills).

  • Strong marketing and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent communication skills
