- The Business Development Manager role is integral to the overall success of our organization. He / She will be responsible for growing the client base of the organization and meeting monthly sales revenue.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
- Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
- Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
- Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
- Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
- Discovers and explores business opportunities.
- Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
- Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
- Timely and courteous response to client’s enquiries.
- Liaising with clients, suppliers and other staff on confirmed orders.
- Attending to customer calls and enquiries.
- Preparing customer invoices based on their request.
- Following up on issued invoices with clients.
- Calling clients post retrieval for feedback (report to be shared with LM & CEO).
- Create and maintain client database inclusive of DOB and anniversaries.
- Ensure 100% accuracy on clients invoices.
Education, Experience & Qualifications
To carry out their duties, the candidate should have the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 5 years plus experience (able to demonstrate having worked with a team or supervisory skills).
- Strong marketing and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills
