Responsibilities

Graphics Design:



  • Analyse the communication plan and produce text, image, audio-visual content relevant for each platform in accordance with communication goals.

  • Interpret communication collaterals to create visual content for target audiences

  • Create compelling presentations using Microsoft PPT or other illustrator software

  • Merge current design trends with existing branding to produce cutting-edge, innovative creative assets.

  • Concept, develop, and build a wide variety of creative assets (print, web, CRM, social, content, etc.) to support communications, public relations, and global toolkits.

  • Iterate on design based on feedback from team members, partners, and stakeholders by translating complex notes into simple directives all while keeping on strategy.

  • Ideate visual concepts and refine design work based on the creative direction


Website Management:



  • Plan, implement and manage website upgrades for the Foundation

  • Regularly test for website performanceTroubleshoot the website and respond to security breaches

  • Regularly update content and constantly improve the User Experience (UX) of the website.

  • Ensure that the website is protected by enabling the appropriate security measures.Update HTML, CSS, and JavaScript regularly.

  • Conduct content audits to eliminate redundant and/or duplicate information.

  • Ensure full compliance on the website with all laws and regulations.Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and monitor competitor websites.


Person Specification



  • Bachelors Degree level or equivalent

  • Demonstrable work experience (minimum 3-4 years)

  • Previous work experience in a brand or advertising agency is an added advantage.

  • Licenses and certifications or other training in visual content creation. (Adobe photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign and Illustrator software)

  • Display an excellent understanding of content management systems (CMS) and technology infrastructures using CSS, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Web-Proxy, and Security Audits.

  • Must possess a portfolio of previous work done that shows experience

  • A recognised degree or diploma in graphic design and branding would be an added advantage

  • Great eye for good designGood interpersonal and communications skills

  • Ability to turn complex subject matters into visually appealing content

  • Can translate written ideas to exciting visual content that can drive the right engagement for a brand

  • Understand video editing and production and how that contributes to brand experience

  • Highly motivated, quick learner and self-starter
