Job Description:
We are looking to hire a Chef who will prepare daily meals (local & intercontinental) for staff according to approved standards. You will initiate new ideas in cooking methods and in service delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve meals on the menu.
- Design new recipes and plating ideas.
- Inspect the quality of all meals to ensure consistency and tastiness.
- Ensure promptness, freshness, and quality of dishes.
- Implement hygiene policies and examining equipment for cleanliness.
- Perform administrative tasks, take stock of food and equipment supplies, and draft purchase orders.
- Other tasks as assigned by manager.
Requirements:
- Ability to prepare local and intercontinental dishes.
- Minimum of two years culinary education and training.
- Proven experience working as a Chef.
- Proven ability of kitchen management.
- To ensure the efficient management and functioning of all kitchen staff and other related duties in the kitchen.
