Tax Management and ensuring regulatory compliance with respect to all relevant taxes.
Development and implementation of tax strategies to ensure tax optimization.
Collaborating with other departments to understand business practices and new projects, and communicating the tax implications of business practices across departments.
Identification of tax planning opportunities to minimize tax exposures.
Preparation and review of tax projections and tax returns, and ensuring accurate computation of tax liabilities
Monitoring changes to tax laws and regulations, and making the appropriate updates to policies and strategies
Development and maintenance of relationships with appropriate personnel in relevant tax authorities and liaising with tax officials where the need arises.
Ensuring that the company's overall interests are protected during tax queries, audits and/or investigations
Ensuring complete and appropriate documentation of relevant documents, responses, and proof of tax remittances
Performing due diligence review of financial and tax records in the case of business reorganization
Processing and obtaining of Tax Clearance Certificates.
Management and Filing of Transfer pricing.
Completion of quarterly and annual tax reports.
Prepare preliminary tax computation (PAYE, CIT, TET) for tax audits as may be requested.
Requirements
B.Sc or its equivalent in Accounting.
5+ years of fixed asset accounting experience is required.
Proficiency in SAP FICO is add advantage
ICAN and ACCA is an advantage.
Must be Proficient in Excel.
