Job Purpose

• Manage the activities and performance of the Cold End department by ensuring glass wares are properly packaged at all times.


• Ensure that team members while carrying out their tasks are fully aware of standards and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Make plan for materials to be used to ensure continuous packing of quality glassware from production lines and arranges transfer to the warehouse.


• Liaise with Mechanical and Electrical departments for routine maintenance and repair of all equipment for efficient operations while on duty.


• Maintain good housekeeping and a safe work environment and ensure staff comply with safety regulations.


• Ensure that the quality inspectors on the lines use gauges on the lines accordingly.


• Ensure that all packaging of wares are carried out strictly in accordance with customers’ specifications.


• To ensure compliance with relevant QMS, food safety, OHSAS & EMS policies and procedures among staff.


• Coordinate welfare of subordinates and ensure industrial peace during working hours.


• Train, develop and motivates subordinates for optimum performances.


• Ensure the proper use and maintenance of all equipment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Engineering or other related field


• 8 - 10 years experience in related role


• Must be a good Team-leader


• Must have good Time management Skills


• Ability to use Microsoft office packages -excel, word, power point


• Good report writing skills


• Good communication skills, oral and written.
