Experience: 3-5 Years
Purpose statement: We are looking to employ an HR generalist with outstanding analytical and communication skills who is expected to be a conceptual thinker with fantastic organizational and conflict management skills. You must have excellent negotiation and problem solving skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Preparing job descriptions, advertising vacant positions, and managing the employment process.
- Orientating new employees and training existing employees.
- Monitoring employee performance.
- Ensuring that all employees are organized and satisfied in their work environment.
- Overseeing the health and safety of all employees.
- Implementing systematic staff development procedures.
- Providing counseling on policies and procedures.
- Ensuring meticulous implementation of payroll and benefits administration.
- Communicating with staff about issues affecting their performance.
- Ensuring accurate and proper record-keeping of employee information in electronic and digital format.
Requirements
- BSc/BA in business administration, social studies or relevant field; further training will be a plus
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in human resources.
- Proven experience as HR officer, administrator or other HR position
- Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
- Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
- Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus
- Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
- Strong ethics and reliability
- HR Credentials (e.g. PHR from the HR Certification Institute)
