Job Description



Main Functions



  • Oversee and participate in the use of the Department’s Inventory Management System; evaluate and monitor inventory control of multiple stock site locations;

  • Supervise, monitor and evaluate quality of healthcare offered by Shell JV supported Health facilities to increase compliance with standards and best practice.

  • Conduct quarterly quality audits of services offered by SPDC supported health facilities using the performance-based financing tools

  • Collate, analyze and present statistical data from all community health intervention programs in clear and easy to understand formats.

  • Develop annual training plans for community hospitals to bridge the identified gaps in assuring safe and quality-assured health services.

  • Organizes, compiles, and reports QI data for supported health facilities to identify trends, establish priorities, and recommend improvement activities.

  • Oversees and monitors a formal quality improvement program and develops performance improvement targets across the organization.

  • Audit Health facilities to ensure employed professional medical staff are licensed

  • Monitors and maintains current inventory levels

  • Quarterly Data Validation and Verification


Required Qualifications



  • B.Sc. in Health Management or related course

  • Master's Degree in any healthcare field would be an added advnatage

  • ­At least 3 years expereince in data management and inventory monitoring & control

  • Knowledge and experience in Quality Improvement in health

  • Exllect knowledg in the use and management of Large data Statistical soft ware

  • Working expereince in developing key performance Indicators for monitoring and Evalaution health is desirable


Competences:



  • ­Excellent communication and report writing skills

  • ­Numeracy/Big Data & Analytical skills

  • ­Planning and time management ability.

  • ­Ability to use statistical tools and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc);

  • ­­Good team player with ability to work wilth minimal supervision and under pressure

  • ­Computer proficiencies epecially microsoft Office especially and Excel & powerpoint.

  • Experience in using SAP software preferred

  • Good understanding in inventory and knowedge in medical equipment and health M & E

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Strong leadership skills
