About this Role

As an SRE, you will:

• Manage our cloud infrastructure.


• Ensure high scalability and availability of our infrastructure.


• Improve our software development, deployment, and delivery process.


• Design, build and maintain scalable software systems that power our products and infrastructures.


• Document every action so your findings turn into repeatable actions – and then into automation.


• Help us migrate from a monolithic architecture to a microservice architecture.


• Working with engineers, product managers, designers to bring our product vision to life.


• Implement real-time monitoring and alerting within our infrastructure.


• Liaise with the Information Security team to architect & build an elastic infrastructure based on a layered security approach.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least 3 years of experience maintaining and deploying highly available, fault-tolerant systems at scale.


• Experience with Azure and AWS cloud services.


• Experience with Linux and the Unix Shell.


• Experience working on distributed systems.


• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible, Chef).


• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Terraform, Cloudformation).


• Excellent writing and communication skills in English.


• You take security very seriously.


• Collaborative – drive cooperation and teamwork in achieving solutions.


• Creative, solution-driven, and a customer-focused mindset.


• Sound judgment, professionalism, and patience when communicating.

Salary

N250,000 - N700,000 monthly.
