Responsibilities
- The idea candidate should be able to develop, implement and manage creative social media strategy.
- Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media pages, adapting content to suit different pages
- Create engaging multimedia content across the platforms
- Develop, launch and manage new competitions and campaigns that will promote the organization's brand and measure the success of every social media campaign
- Manage and facilitate social media communities by responding to social media posts and developing dicussions
- Set targets to increase brand awareness and incerase customer engagement etc.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Web Content Writer & Graphic Designer or similar role
- Social media strategist using social media for brand awareness and impressions
- Excellent knowledge of facebook, twitter, Linkedin, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices
- Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
- Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research
- Familiarity with web design and publishing
- Great leadership skills
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Great interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
- A first degree or its equivalent in any relevant field and/or any relevant professional certification. Graduates with backgrounds in advertising, business management, journalism, digital marketing, media and communications, public relations will have comparative advantage.
