Job Description

Asseco Nigeria is seeking to hire a Software Developer using their knowledge of programming languages to design software programs. The role will include meeting with clients to determine their software needs, coding, and testing software to ensure functionality and updating software programs.

The ideal candidate should be a highly experienced and proven software developer professional. He / She will be a team leader and self-starter, who is just as comfortable working autonomously as with a team. This candidate should be corporate culture-focused, bringing energy, enthusiasm and business insight to the organization and offering up new ideas and program.

• Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications


• Work with developers to design algorithms and flowcharts


• Integrate software components and third-party programs


• Verify and deploy programs and systems


• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software


• Gather and evaluate user feedback


• Recommend and execute improvements


• Create technical documentation for reference and reporting


• Collaborate with team members to determine best practices and client requirements for software


• Develop intuitive software that meets and exceeds the needs of the company


• Professionally maintain all software and create updates regularly to address customers and company concerns


• Analyze and test programs and products before formal launch


• Troubleshoot coding problems quickly and efficiently to ensure a productive workplace


• Ensure software security by developing programs to actively monitor the sharing of private information


• Actively seek ways to improve business software processes and interactions

Requirements

• Must have a degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience.


• At least 5 - 8 years related IT experience including 4 - 5 years in Software Development.


• Work experience should involve technical consulting, solution design, project envisioning, planning, development, deployment, and management.


• Must have a proven record of rendering IT projects and delivering business value.


• Some business process skills or related skills.
