Ensure timely conveyance of company materials securely to and from places as instructed by supervisor
Ensure that vehicles are kept clean at all times to meet required food safety standards
Transport Company’s products over land to and from manufacturing plants, branches and other specified areas.
Inspect the trailer before and after the trip, and record any defects found.
Report serious mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel.
Ensure that any cargo transported is fully secured to the trailer, using blocks, chains, covers, or ropes.
Ensure that transportation meets safety compliance and regulations.
Drive for long periods, carrying out long-distance deliveries, adjusting to driving conditions appropriately and safely.
Monitor loading and unloading of goods, prepare delivery papers, and keep records of daily tasks
Submit forms, obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods.
Collect delivery instructions from appropriate sources, verifying instructions and routes.
Determine vehicle routes according to traffic patterns
Perform emergency roadside repairs, such as changing tires or installing light bulbs, tire chains, or spark plugs and other basic trailer maintenance.
Carry out routine checks on vehicles and ensure they are in good working condition.
Perform periodic maintenance on vehicles, such as changing batteries and motor oil at appropriate time, and as re-fuelling the car(s)
Keep up a travel log to record areas travelled to, travel time, and work hours
Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations or damage to the vehicles.
Requirements
Strong knowledge of applicable heavy duty truck driving rules and regulations
Hands on experience with troubleshooting and ability to drive long distances and travel regularly
Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc...)
Having a valid professional driver’s license and good driving record with no traffic violations.

Pension: Pursuant to the 2014 Pension Reform (Amendment) Act, CapitalSage Technology Limited will contribute to an appropriate retirement vehicle (PFA) the value of 10% of your annual basic salary, housing and transport allowances while you will contribute 8%.

Leave: You are entitled to 24 working days leave per annum. Effective from the first anniversary of your start date.
13th Month: This is an incentive pay you will receive that is equal to your monthly basic pay.
National Housing Fund: The statutory National Housing Fund (NHF) Contribution, which is 2.5% of your basic salary will be deducted monthly and remitted to the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN).
Variable Allowance: On achievement of your agreed target as negotiated with your Line Manager, you will be entitled to an annual variable pay.
