Our client, in the downstream sector with leading position in the Nigeria Oil Industry focused on improving operating efficiencies in all areas of the downstream sector is looking to hire an experience Factory operator to be responsible for the operating and maintaining of automated machines and equipment used in production lines

JOB SUMMARY

The Factory Operator's responsibilities include setting up, overseeing, operating and maintaining automated machines and equipment used in production lines as instructed, and strictly following health and safety guidelines. A successful candidate must be able to work on the production line with consistent speed and accuracy, maintaining the production standards and work towards improving productivity without compromising quality. Note that this position demands stamina, a successful candidate must be physically fit to be able to lift heavy loads.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

•  Operating and maintaining automated machines and production line equipment.


•  Working on the production line and meeting production targets.


•  Following the company’s guidelines on health and safety standards and other specifications.


•  Monitoring the assembly line, removing faulty products or machines and to report any problems to the Supervisor on duty.


•  Maintaining a clean worksite to avoid hazards from chemicals and fragile products.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 2-3yrs experience working as a Factory Operator.


• Good knowledge with automated machines/factory lines.


• Background in a factory preferably an automated factory i.e., the big FMCGs (Coca Cola, Nigerian Breweries, Chivita etc).


• Able to work as part of a team.


• Good communication skills.


• Physical dexterity.
