Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable Loan Collection Officer who will implement loan recovery process with debtors and claim outstanding loans. We need someone who is polite and empathic towards people and establish repayment schedules, monitor repayment of loans and be commited to their purpose.

Responsibilities 

• Minimizing customer response times by issuing reminder notices and customer statements and monitoring collection of debts promptly


• Plan a course of action to recover outstanding payments


• Locate and contact debtors to inquire of their payment status


• Negotiate payoff deadlines or payment plans


• Handle questions or complaints


• Create trust relationships with debtors when possible to avoid future issues


• Update account status and database regularly


• Alert superiors of debtors unwilling or unable to pay when necessary

Requirements:

  Candidates should possess a B.S.C/HND/OND in relevant fields

  Proven experience as a loan collection officer
