Job Description

• Participating in the installation of new networks to ensure that they are functioning properly


• Maintaining and repairing existing fiber optic networks to ensure that they continue operating efficiently


• Providing training on new technologies to engineers who work for telecommunications companies or other clients of the engineer’s firm


• Evaluating customer needs, creating design specifications, and estimating costs for new projects


• Working with other engineers involved in the project to ensure that plans are compatible with existing infrastructure


• Identifying new applications for emerging technologies or materials, such as nanotechnology or photonics


• Conducting research on new materials and technologies to improve existing products or develop new products.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / HND / OND qualification with 1 - 3 years work experience.


• Strong problem-solving, communication, and listening skills.


• Experience in Fiber optics engineering


• Steadfast dedication to ethical codes of practice.


• Proximity to Berger and its environs is an added advantage


• Superb work ethic and a growth mindset.

Salary

N40,000 - N80,000 / month.
