Job Description
About Your Role:
- Responsibility includes managing the strategic directions of retail delivery (agents and partnerships), marketing and business development for the organization.
- Responsible for service and sales performance of the organization’s retail sales division which offer consumer, business, and insurance products and services.
- Develop and implement Octamile's product Distribution strategy to achieve the desired growth
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure alignment in proposition and driving distribution strategy goals
- Define distribution models, strategic agreements and manage stakeholder relationships to achieve high growth and business profitability
- Build a scalable and efficient distribution model and ensure agents and recruited sales team are professionally trained and supervised
- Provide excellent sales support and product expertise at all points during the sales process
- Actively manage the sales funnel through business-driven Management Information (MI) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Leverage your people skills to represent Octamile as a thought leader at events and conferences, and build relationships with prospects, partners and industry stakeholders.
- Responsible for coordinating the planning and budgeting processes for all reporting departments.
About You:
- 8+ years experience with solid experience in Financial services, FMCG or Consulting
- Must be able to drive business results using excellent commercial judgment and entrepreneurial thinking
- Demonstrated experience in marketing and business development initiatives
- Significant knowledge of Insurance products and the ecosystem
- Customer-centric with a commitment to improving customer experience
- Able to create a positive working relationship with senior executives internally and externally
- Insurance experience is a plus
