The Role

• The Informational Technology Audit Manager shall be responsible for planning, organising, and supervising the activities of the Flutter wave Information System Audit Team and providing quality assurance on work done by the information technology auditors.


• The candidate shall also be responsible for planning and overseeing the execution of all information technology related audits on a timely basis

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist the Head, Internal Audit in developing IT related sections of the annual Internal Audit Program


• Assist the Head, Internal Audit   in developing and updating the audit universe as it relates to IT audits


• Assist the Head, Internal Audit   in the compilation of Audit Committee and Executive Management reports as it relates to IT audits


• Develop audit programs related to systems review and governance for use by IT Audit teams


• Oversee audit assignments which involve evaluation of IT general controls, IT application controls as well as effectiveness of information security


• Ensure the integrity of all application source code using relevant IT tools and software during internal audit engagements


• Evaluate the propriety of access rights on application systems


• Review the Company’s information technology infrastructure, focusing on the following
  
  
  
  • Effectiveness of the IT operational and control procedures.
  
  
  • Information system security;
  
  
  • Completeness and accuracy of transaction processing on key business applications;
  
  
  • Review of the adequacy of system development and change control procedures; and
  
  
  • Business Continuity Plans
  
  
  
  


• Ensure sustained knowledge of leading IT practices and controls through continuing professional education


• Provide recommendations and guidance on identified security and control risks.
  
  
  
  
  

Required Competency and Skillset to be a Waver

• Must possess at least a University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Systems, or any other related field


• Minimum of 6 to 8 years IT audit related experience


• Excellent interpersonal communication at all levels (verbal and written)


• Excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, and analytical skills


• Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills


• Excellent project management skills
