Requirements, Desired Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Health, Safety, and Quality Management or any relevant field of study from a recognised university.


• Minimum of 10 years related QHSE management experience


• Minimum of 7 years cognate relevant work experience in the Oil and Gas Industry or Maritime in a similar senior role.


• Knowledge of all aspects of marine safety laws, federal regulations and environmental laws.


• Vast in OSHAS 18001,


• HSE management system and HSE procedures.


• Must have NEBOSH or other recognized Quality and Health certification.


• ISM Codes certification is relevant


• Good knowledge of the International Maritime Organisation


• Vast knowledge of Industrial and Occupational safety


• Must have lead auditor ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Standard, ISO 45001:2018.


• Occupational Health and Safety Management, ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management


• Team leadership abilities to keep control of all parties involved in terminal, vessels and security operations.


• Vast knowledge of root cause analysis, non-conformance, Corrective/Preventive Action (RCA, NCR and CAPA).
