Job Description
Our client wishes to Accounts Officer responsibilities include managing expense reports and reimbursements, entering financial transactions into our internal databases and reconciling invoices.
Job Responsibilities
- Posting accounting/ financial data into the company’s accounting system daily.
- Record and update sales invoices, receipts and payments in the control excel document daily.
- Preparing and monitoring budgets before expenses are incurred. Officer must ensure that expenses not budgeted for are not processed for payment
- Prepare and post journal entries into books of account to open ledgers, close ledgers, correct errors and post bank charges.
- Manage petty cash imprest and transactions and ensure that petty cash policy is strictly adhered to.
Skills and Experience Requirement
- Experience using accounting software,
- Strong math and critical reasoning skills.
- Prior experience working with financial accounts.
- Minimum of OND, HND degree or equivalent.
