MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create Initiatives and drive strategies to scale the operations of Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions within the Company


• Drive new business opportunities to achieve targets, maintain healthy pipelines and forecast to required operational standards


• Drive the Azure Data and AI business operations such as solution selling, proposals and presentations, project delivery, demos and POCs, etc.


• Build the Team capacity across the different Data and AI operations


• Efficiently deliver all projects according to approved project timelines


• Lead and Manage the team of people within the Data and AI team towards optimizing their outcomes for the company


• Provide performance reports of the Azure Data and AI activities to Management on a weekly and monthly basis.


• Ensure Team members are certified as required by OEM partners


• Carry out Performance appraisal of team members as required by the company.


• Collaborate with Internal stakeholders including the sales, cloud advisory and back office support staff to achieve set corporate objectives


• Improve customer response time for proposals, support, and all customer enquiries.


• Meet and exceed set targets for the unit.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent knowledge of machine learning techniques and algorithms


• Technical hands on with common data science toolkits such as R, Python, Azure Databricks etc.


• Experience with Programming / Database Languages: such as SQL (Oracle SQL, Ms SQL, MySQL), PL/SQL, Oracle Enterprise Databases (10g, 11g, 12c), Pig, Hive and Hadoop.


• Efficient with data visualization tools, such as Power BI, Tableau etc.


• Experience with statistics skills such as distributions, statistical testing, regression analysis etc.


• Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM), Data Quality Service (DQS) and Data Integration services like SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), SQL Loader etc.


• Good scripting, programming skills and data-oriented individual


• Expert in the use of Predictive and descriptive data models.


• Great communication skills and business savvy


• A very good knowledge of Microsoft Azure data/AI and Application modernization platform will be a great advantage


• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree with preference in technology related disciplines
