Play a key role in ensuring that the CTO/COO can fully deliver on her responsibilities, through proactive and smart project management and execution, overseeing the infrastructure of technical operations, managing a team of IT employees (in-house and external), and developers, managing vendors, training and tracking technology in order to achieve business goals, minimize security and service disruption risks and increase user satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop basic front-end systems
- Experience with SQL Queries and database schema
- Prepare briefings, talking points, presentations, and proposals for the CTO for internal and external purposes
- Manage some special projects as directed by the CTO, working with and in some cases, leading internal teams to get this done, as appropriate
- Develop an IT policy and ensure its implementation
- Oversee project management
- Help define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes
- Deliver on Security, Risk Management, and Contingency for all operations and ensure proper backups of all systems
- Develop and adhere to a compliance checklist for the firm from a Technology standpoint.
- Be responsible for the function’s financial interactions (Payments, Funding, and Records)
- Compile a list of asset value, cost of servicing, and procurement of new assets (CAPEX).
Qualifications
- Education to BA/BS level at minimum
- MBA or Post Graduate Education/Certification provides added advantage
- Full legal right to work (post-NYSC) in place
