Job Description



  • Managing Security Patrol Operations

  • Supervise Patrol Team comprising of Patrol Vehicle, Patrol Driver and Armed Escort Policemen

  • Oversee activities of policemen deployed and make them conform to acceptable standard.

  • Undertake and supervise journey management of assigned driver.

  • Ensure that the operational vehicle is working at optimal condition at all times.

  • Maintain constant awareness of security asset locations, ensuring a balanced security presence is achieved across the AOO.

  • Monitoring and directing the activities of the patrol units according to the direction of the watch keeper.

  • Monitoring alarm indicators, ensuring expeditious response of field units.

  • Serving as an information source for patrol units.

  • Patrolling an assigned area, ensuring security is maintained in the zone or area to which assigned.

  • Remaining vigilant at all times and ensuring his or her actions are keeping with Standard of Operating Procedures of the company.


Supporting Incident Management



  • Respond to incident alerts from Control Center in a timely manner.

  • Act as First responder to Incidents, accidents, medical emergency until appropriate authority arrives.

  • Record and report on all security operations and incidents concerning patrol

  • Respond to security asset to incidents, communicating succinctly whilst providing full details surrounding incidents.

  • Provide incident update to the Watch keeper/Security Coordinator once response resources have been deployed

  • Communicate ongoing incident/post incident activity and reporting.

  • Provide daily support to the Security Operations Manager in the collation of information pertaining to faulty Control Center equipment

  • Conduct preliminary investigations of incidents and prepare incident reports.


Supporting Incident Health and Safety



  • Report any incident or hazards at work.

  • Carry out roles and responsibilities as detailed in the relevant health and safety policies and procedures.

  • Obey any reasonable instruction aimed at protecting health and safety while at work

  • Ensure proper use of any equipment provided to protect health and safety while at work.

  • Assist in the identification of hazards, the assessment of risks and the implementation of risk control measures.

  • Consider and provide feedback on any matters which may affect health and safety.

  • Ensure they are not under the influence of alcohol or drug(s) to endanger their own or any persons’ health and safety.

  • Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service

  • Displays leadership in customers, exemplifies excellent customer service and creates a positive atmosphere for customers relations.

  • Meet quality standards and customer expectations on a daily basis.

  • Analyzes information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.

  • Informs and/or updates your superior, the peers and the subordinates on relevant information in a timely manner.

  • Provides information to co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
