Donor Ready supports non-profits and social enterprises with resources, training, advisory and capacity building to strengthen their capacities to access higher levels of support and funding in order to achieve their full potential and bring about positive change. We’re looking for an ambitious and proactive digital marketing and communications expert with significant content development experience to take a generalist role in our burgeoning startup.

Here's an idea of functions you will perform in the role to be successful:

• You'll be moving into this position as a self starter, sometimes working as a team of one but with the support of experienced team leaaders to research contents that align with the needs of our community.


• You'll be wearing different hats across communications from contents creation to growth and web optimisation.


• You'll be organizing events and industry gatherings to project the brand and engage stakeholders, sometimes on minimal budgets so will need to come up with innovative strategies to achieve results 


• You’ll need to try lots of advocacy and business development strategies to grow the community and followership.

The right candidate for this role will have:

• Proven experience working in the past as a Copy Writer and Content Creator


• A strong non-profit (development/humanitarian) background with deep brand, digital, social and content marketing expertise


• A desire to work in a rapidly-growing and evolving start-up with an informal but driven culture


• A basic web and graphics design experience.
