SOLUTION PROVIDER IN NIGERIA.
JOB SUMMARY
As an Executive Management level role, the job holder is a member of the company board and is responsible for the strategic direction and success of the business and for:
Ensuring revenue growth and profitability as a B2B service provider of choice in the Telecom VAS
Solutions business space.
Working with various teams responsible for developing new business which includes product development,
sales of product solutions, and creating a customer base for the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the company as a going concern.
- Plan, develop, implement, and direct the organisation’s operational and fiscal function and performance.
- Outline new approaches and business models to develop the business.
- Communicate effectively and establish credibility throughout the organization and with the Board of Directors as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges.
- Analyze the effects of long-term growth initiatives, planning, new strategies, and regulatory actions.
- Oversee all operations and business activities.
- Oversee the design, marketing, promotion, delivery and quality of programs, products, and services.
- Provide direction to the product development teams to establish, manage, and report on performance indicators and success criteria for the company’s products and services.
- Management of relationships with regulators and ensuring compliance with policy and regulatory
requirements.
- Provide a visible leadership role as the CEO within and outside the company.
- Attend and present at conferences and meetings with key stakeholders to generate business leads and raise awareness.
- Develop strategic relationships to help grow the company’s network and business – e.g., Private Institutions, governments, market influencers, policymakers, key relevant institutions, etc.
- Responsible for working with key stakeholders in relevant institutions to negotiate contractual relationships that lead to achieving company goals.
- Responsible for working with the Head of Business streams and functional teams to identify customer needs and performance indicators that need to be met from a contractual perspective.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or any related discipline.
- Professional qualifications and MBA will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of fifteen (15) years of industry experience, five (5) of which must have been at the Top Management level.
- Experience in developing, planning, and implementing successful strategies.
- Go-to-market and sales experience for products with developer customers.
- Experience with profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management and general finance and budgeting.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate governance, finance, and performance management principles.
- Demonstrated experience building operational processes and teams.
- Analytical and Interpersonal skills and being a confident negotiator.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
