Job Description



Prixair Media is one of the biggest production company in the northern part of Nigeria powering all kinds of events and  providing clients with impressive lighting, staging, sound, screens and other media related content for succesfull event of any kind.


We seek a Gneral manager to head the entire activities of the unit as part of our expansion model, 


A summary of the position is found below


Sales and Marketing



  • Find prospective clients for the company to ensure there is a constant in flow of revenue into the company,

  • Make presentations on behalf of the company to close important deals

  • Implementing new sales plans and advertising.

  • Recruiting, training, scheduling, coaching, and managing  teams to meet sales and marketing objectives of the company


Operations


Manage the daily and long-term operational goals of the  company.

On a day-to-day basis, manage staff, work schedules and delegating tasks. For  long-term management, establish departmental policies, yearly objectives, areas of opportunity and goals related to sales and budgeting.

On an ongoing basis,  confer with management, determine the growth and strategy of the  company  and respond to changes in staff, including hiring, firing and promotions.


Project Management


Manage ongoing initiatives surrounding  production, marketing and editorial calendars. Establish an ongoing production calendar that includes projects or ad hoc initiatives. Execute staffing and appropriate delegation to man each of the projects on an ongoing basis


Financial Management


You will oversee the annual budget of the  company, making cost recommendations throughout the year to ensure its adequate management. Provide the vision and strategy for the overall financial health of the media company.  You will  continue to review financial statements and other performance data regularly to maintain continuity. Make financial decisions to ensure adherence to budgets. 


New Media Directives and Digital Strategy


With continued emphasis on social media and digital strategy, you will comtinue to ensure the organization is up to date with the latest industry standards. In addition to hiring staff to manage new media, you will also develop a digital plan to execute new media in its marketing and public relations strategy. .



  • Maintaining relationships with important clients by making regular visits, understanding their needs, and anticipating new marketing opportunities.

  • Staying current in the industry by attending media  opportunities, conferences, and workshops, and maintaining personal and professional networks


Requirements:



  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, business , or related field.

  • 5-10 years experience in  a marketing or sales, business development, operations, Media role.

  • Experience in management.

  • Understanding and knowledge of sales, marketing and the media industry.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and creative thinking skills.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

  • Knowledge of the Media space is an added advantage

  • The ability to understand and follow company policies and procedures.

  • The ability to work under pressure.


Note: This role is based in abuja and only candidates in abuja will be considered
