Responsibilitties

• Meeting with clients and determining their needs and requirementsManaging design projects from concept development through to completion


• Developing and presenting project proposalsAdjusting designs and plans to meet the clients needs


• Preparing drawings, blueprints, specifications and construction documents


• Conducting research and compiling reports on feasibility and environmental impact


• Complying with safety standards and local planning regulationsDetermining and adhering to budgets and timelines

Qualifications

The ideal candidates should possess the following:

• B.Sc Degree in Architecture


• Member of The Nigerian Institute of Architects


• Proven working experience as an Architect


• Strong portfolio to prove artistic skills


• Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards


• Excellent drawing skills and familiarity with design software (ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, Maya, Adobe Photoshop, Sketch Up, 3d Studio VIZ, Rhino 3D or similar)


• Strong imagination and the ability to think and create in three dimensions


• Visual awareness and an eye for detail


• Communication and project management skills
