Responsibilities

• Able to check site feasibility and provide the best suitable option for enhancing suitability.


• Design photovoltaic (PV) or solar thermal systems, including system components, for residential and commercial buildings.


• Identify means to reduce costs, minimize risks, and increase the efficiency of solar installation projects


• Create checklists for review or inspection of completed solar installation projects.


• Develop design specifications and functional requirements for residential, commercial, or industrial solar energy systems or components.


• Plan and develop operation and maintenance programs for clients and internal use.


• End-to-end execution of solar projects (Rooftop & Ground Mounted) and After-Service Support.


• Develop standard operation procedures and quality standards for solar installation work.


• Able to check site feasibility and provide the best suitable option for enhancing suitability.


• Review specifications and recommend engineering changes to achieve solar design objectives.


• Plan and coordinate installations in compliance with safety standards


• Estimate materials, equipment, and personnel needed for residential or commercial solar installation projects.


• Other duties as assigned by the line manager

Requirements

• Minimum of HND / Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics and Electronics or related Energy field.


• Registration and/or membership in a recognized Engineering body is an added advantage.


• Excellent Electronics troubleshooting and resolution.


• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as in Renewable Energy Industry.

Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Complete understanding of Solar PV installation and practices


• Experience and knowledge of Solar PV


• Ability to demonstrate ethics and professionalism at all times


• Strong supervisory and leadership skills
