Job Summary



  • The Investment Communication Officer works in the corporate investment arm of the organization as a team to make known to corporate bodies some of our products to our clients.


Job Description



  • Suggest a variety of marketing and communications strategies that may include direct mail, advertising, web, email, social media, news media, special events, and other methods to sell the company’s Investment products to corporate clients.

  • Assist in planning marketing and communications strategy by identifying communications needs based on relevant research.

  • Prepare creative briefs for concept development and creative expression for Investment.

  • Benchmark marketing efforts and best practices and prepare reports to inform innovation and competitive analysis.

  • Assist with planning the implementation of event promotions.

  • Support with budgeting, and marketing expenditures monitor on investment campaigns.

  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners on campaigns.

  • Assist with production of marketing and/or promotional communications that may include print, electronic, social media, new/emerging media, in accordance with the approved strategic marketing plan and objectives for Investment.

  • Managing the sending of newsletters, promotional emails, push notifications, social media plugs on Investment plans, etc.

  • Edit and proofread publications, including website, advertisements, articles, brochures, feature stories on investment when assigned etc.

  • Assist in delivering presentations to internal and external clients.

  • Attend and represent the Company at special events when delegated.

  • Provide specific support in the research and analysis of marketing strategy.

  • Assist in preparing investment proposals and presentations to corporate clients.

  • Assist in the generation of corporate client database for the company.

  • Prepare weekly and monthly report on activities and send to the Investment Communications Lead.


Job Specification

You should bring the following qualifications, skills, and behaviours to the role:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Marketing, Economics or any other.

  • Good years of marketing experience in micro finance/ investment companies, real estate, insurance companies etc

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Excellent relationship management, interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Sales-driven, results-driven, and target-driven attitude

  • Ability to meet and/or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas.

  • Proficient use of PowerPoint for client presentation
