Job Summary



  • The Branch Admin Manager is responsible for providing strategic oversight and direction for the Administration and Human Resource function in the Branch.


Job Responsibilities

The following are some of the exciting projects you will be working on and responsible for:



  • Coordinates, monitors staff and activities in the branch.

  • Maintains branch staff records, prepares reports, queries, and correspondences.

  • Creates, maintains, and monitors effective controls on equipment and asset inventory.

  • Ensures equipment availability, maintenance and data backups in the branch.

  • Ensures timely provision, monitoring and effective utilization of resources in the branch.

  • Identify job vacancies, positions, staff development, training needs in the branch and recommends same to management.

  • Ensures that staff branch performance appraisals, staff training are evaluated and analyzed for management actions.

  • Ensures that staff roles, and responsibilities are specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and time bound.

  • Plans, organizes, directs, controls and monitors staff activities, performances in line with departmental objectives and targets in the branch.

  • Interfaces with host community, local government agencies, Tax and revenue agencies, government parastatals in ensuring that relevant interested party’s requirements are monitored and met in consultation with top management.

  • Co-ordinates the branch activities of business development executives, front desks personnel in line with their departmental objectives and targets and ensure timely resolution of customer feed backs and nonconforming services or products.

  • Assist in staff recruitment process and ensure new employee orientation and induction in the branch is done.

  • Ensures general welfare of branch employees and interface with top management on any personnel issues.

  • Assist in monitoring accounts activities in the branch.

  • Timely preparation of Branch Monthly report.

  • Assist in ensuring compliance to health, safety and environmental standards and procedures in the branch.

  • Any other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the top management.


Requirements

We believe that you will succeed better if you possess the following:



  • A Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in Business Administration/HR or any related field.

  • Minimum of four (4) years prior work experience in Administration/HR or in a related field.

  • Experience in office management procedures, facilities management principles

  • Demonstrated leadership and decision-making skills.

  • Strong organizational, Communication, and Interpersonal skills.

  • Team-oriented thinking and action; People / Resource management skills;

  • Ability to interpret, understand and relate complex policies and procedures

  • High proficiency in the use of Microsoft office tools.

  • High level of initiative.

  • Good conflict management skills

  • Membership of any related professional body will be an added advantage.
