JOB FUNCTIONS

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for mining and managing the company’s overall database. You will serve as the gatekeeper for the organisation’s data to enable individuals and stakeholders understand and make strategic business decisions while also closely working with different clients and team members.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Information Management, or related field


• Minimum of 3 years proven work experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst


• Knowledge of reporting packages like Business Objects etc. databases (SQL, Oracle, Python etc.), programming (XML, JavaScript, R programming, ETL work frames)


• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing datasets (Excel, SAS, SPSS etc.)


• Technical expertise regarding data models, database designs development, data mining and segmentation techniques


• Strong analytical skills with ability to collect, organize and disseminate significant amount of data with high amount to details and accuracy


• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills


• Strategic Thinking and Problem-Solving skills


• Ability to translate business requirements to non- technical lay terms


• Skilled at report writing, queries and presentations


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Willingness to travel within Nigeria
